The Civil Engineering Department was started in the year 2011. Over one decade the department has carved its niche in the areas of academics, research, consultancy, collaborative projects, and publications. Over 250 technical papers in the reputed journals and conferences are the outcome of active research of the department. The faculty members have received advanced degrees and/or training from highly reputed universities across the country. The department has been actively involved in conducting conferences, workshops, FDP’s, Site Visits, Project Tours and several student related programs to provide a platform for sharing and spreading the latest developments in the field of Civil Engineering.

The department nurtures students for overall development by encouraging the students to participate in curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. The department has well established interactions with the outside world (institutions and industry) through industrial visits, expert lectures, workshops, internships etc. With a good placement record, the department facilitates the student’s placements in reputed companies.
