FDP by DELLSOFT Technologies

One day online FDP was conducted by DELLSOFT Technologies on 27th October 2017. Our faculty members participated and got benefited about “ Power System Design, Simulation & Analysis using DIgSILENT PowerFactory Software.

This fdp/workshop Program was divided in two parts. First there was a PowerPoint presentation in which they described some of the details of the powerfactory current version and then explained with a live demo on the software with some basic power system analysis like load flow,sc,rms,emt,modal etc.

Inaugural Ceremony

The inaugural ceremony of the SPARKLING ELECTRICAL association for the academic year 2017-18, inaugurated on Thursday 24, August 2017 at 11:10am in the Seminar Hall, MIT Kundapura. The program was started by a prayer, sung by Ms.Suguna. The program was presided by Siddarth. J. Shetty chairman of MITK, chief guest Dr.Kataiah the principal of MITK, Prof. Satish. S. Amsadi the HOD of EEE. The program was commenced with the lighting of holy lamp. The function was organized by the final year Electrical and Electronics Engineering students.

Industrial Visit

Industrial visit enhance the practical knowledge of students to empower them with the recent developments in the core field and also to provide with a fair idea of the work environment at the power sectors. In this concern department of electrical and electronics engineering organized industrial visit to Varahi Hydro electric power plant on 31/08/2017. Team of 29 students with 8 faculty members visited the plant.
