The Department of Management Studies of Moodlakatte Institute of Technology organized a state-level inter-collegiate Management and Cultural Fest-YUVA on 25th May 2023. More than 20 colleges participated in various competitions. Dr. Bhaskar Shetty, Principal, Government women first Grade College Udupi was invited as the chief guest to inaugurate the fest.

Students of Moodlakatte Institute of Technology, Mr. Amar C Balaganv and Mr. Vishnumoorthy Nayak, won the "Best Futuristic Technology Award" for their project titled 'Automatic Segregation System for Efficient Solid Waste Management" in the IFERP National Level student project competition held at SRM IST, Ramapuram. They competed with 1000 project entries all over India.
