MITK Graduation Day

The graduation day program of Moodlakatte Engineering College, Kundapura was celebrated with much fanfare on 11-06-2022. Dr. SM Kulkarni, Dean of Research Department of NITK Surathkal, who arrived as the chief guest, inaugurated the program. On behalf of the college, he distributed certificates to the graduating engineering and MBA students and wished them success. The Principal who presided over the program, Dr. Chandra Rao Madane, opined that "If the role of students is great for the development of an educational institution, then it is very happy that all the students are in a good position". All Institutions Principal’s, Vice-Principal’s, Dean’s, HOD’s, Faculty members and Students were present during the programme.

A free training program for the students who want to take admission in engineering after completing second PUC was held for two weeks from May 23rd, to June 6th, 2022 by Moodlakatte Engineering College at Government PU College, Bidkalkatte. The main objective of this program is to teach on the topics that will be asked in the CET exam and to solve the questions and find out the answers in easy way. This training was given by the lecturers who are master in all the subjects and Students took the full advantage of this without any charges.

International Yoga Daywas celebrated at MITK

International Yoga Day was celebrated on 21st June, 2022 at Moodlekatte Engineering College, Kundapur in association with Moodlekatte Nursing College. Mr. Praveen, a yoga teacher arrived as the chief guest and inaugurated the programme. Mr. Praveen said "Yoga is a precious gift of the ancient tradition of India. Yoga unites mind and body; thought and action; restraint and purposefulness. Instead of becoming yogis, we should focus more on becoming yogis, and we should make continuous efforts in that direction. College Principal Dr. Chandra Rao Madane shared his experience and explained the importance of yoga to the gathering.

Teachers’ Day at MITK

College students celebrated Teacher's Day on behalf of IMJ Institutions on 5-09-2022 with gusto. All Institutions Principal’s, Vice-Principal’s, Dean’s, HOD’s, Faculty members and Students were present, After the Stage program there were activities organized for the teachers, the teachers also participated with sportsmanship and made the program a success.

Independence Day celebrated at IMJ Institutions.

As a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Independence Day was celebrated with grandeur at IMJ Institutions. The Principal of Engineering College Dr. Chandra Rao Madane addressed the students about Independence Day. Vanamahotsava, planting tree in the name of martyr was the highlight and followed by cultural programs were also organized by the students. Principal Dr. Chandra Rao Madane distributed the prizes of various competitions held as part of Amrita Mahotsava. All Institutions Principal’s, Vice-Principal’s, Dean’s, HOD’s, Faculty members and Students were present during the programme.

Faculty Published a Research Paper in Scopus Indexed Journal

Prof. Varuna Kumara in the Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering, and Prof. Prameela, in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, have co-authored a research paper titled "EarlyNet: A Novel Transfer Learning Approach with VGG11 and EfficientNet for Early-Stage Breast Cancer Detection" published in the INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS AND APPLICATIONS IN ENGINEERING (IJISAE), 2024, Volume 12, Issue 12, 725–734, under the esteemed banner of Elsevier Publication.
